We are a small group of neighbours looking to ensure that the development of our neighbourhood conforms to City of Toronto building, zoning and other applicable by-laws.  Development makes sense.  Our city needs more housing.  But what is proposed for 175 St. Clair West is sadly more about what the developer wants, rather than what the city or our neighbourhood needs:  much taller than the city allows; more than twice the length of any other neighbouring buildings.  It will take a significant "Official Plan Amendment and zoning amendment". Clearly this consortium of developers is not interested in playing by city planning and zoning rules as they currently stand.  We are going to do our best not to let that happen.
